Steve, Ben, and their staff are amazing. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Not only were they fast, professional, and provided work of the highest quality (no damages to anything), they are flexible and reasonably priced to boot. I relied on them to help me move from DC to Philly. They were extremely kind and responsive through several schedule changes as my closing date kept moving and loft renovations were repeatedly delayed. They just rock. I will definitely call them again next time I move.

Suffice it to say they are the first people I am calling now, 2 years later, because the quality of their work back in 2015 was just exceptional. From scheduling, to planning, to move-in day, the professionalism was unparalleled. The actual move went flawlessly, with not even a smudge on any wall as they carefully maneuvered large furniture items around our narrow stair landings. Clearly, I would recommend as I am hiring them again myself!

They moved my daughter in August and just moved me.  I'm very qualified to give this review as I've moved a lot.

Use Grasshopper.  You'll be glad you did!

Grasshopper Movers were great for my 1-bedroom size move. They made the entire process stress free and, dare I say it, fun! The prices were competitive and transparent, the staff was friendly, and they did a great job moving and protecting my stuff - actually wrapping entire pieces of furniture in cloth with tape rather than just draping it on corners. They charge a flat transportation fee and an hourly rate, which is similar to other companies but here they don't charge extra for stairs (really?!) or have any hidden fees. I will be sure to use this moving company for any other Washington, D.C. moves. In total, my one bedroom move took just under four hours.
